The camcorder is compatible with the Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark 2), Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo and Memory Stick XC-HG Duo media, as well as SDXC and SDHC cards. Multi-interface accessory shoe (MI accessory shoe) for flexible connection without XLR cable

The MI shoe * on the Sony PXW-X70 enables the assembly of the supplied handle, which can be used to start / stop the recording, zoom and audio control. With the MI accessory shoe connection and the optional adapter SMAD-P3, audio signals from the radio microphone systems UWP-D11 or UWP-D12 can be forwarded from the radio microphone receiver to the PXW-X70 without an XLR cable. The receiver can be powered by the PXW-X70 and a battery is not required to operate the receiver.
